RYA Dinghy Advanced Instructor Course
22nd-24th October at Thrapston Sea Cadet Centre (next door to Middle Nene SC) www.middlenenesc.co.uk.
This course is being run by the RYA East Midlands Region and the Sea Cadets, so is open to non Sea Cadet members. £125 - full board, residential.
Arrive at centre 2100 on Friday evening - depart Sunday late afternoon.

Dinghy Instructor Course
Location: Staunton Harold SC
This course may be of especial interest to any juniors (16+) who finish their exams this summer.
11th-18th July 9am - 5pm. Total cost £250
Includes pre entry assessment + racing instructor endorsement for those with suitable experience + additional 2 evening sessions that could include first aid.

RYA Safety Boat
Advanced module courses and pre entry assessments
These advanced module courses and pre entry assessments are running in partnership with the RYA and Youth Afloat. These courses are a great way of either getting ready for an Dinghy Instructor or Senior Instructor course or just having a great weekends sailing in some fantastic kit!
- 26th & 27th June – Performance Sailing + Sailing with Spinnakers
- 10th & 11th July – Performance Sailing + Pre entry assessments
- 21st & 22nd August – Performance Sailing + Seamanship Skills
- 25th & 26th September – Performance Sailing + Sailing with Spinnakers
- 9th & 10th October – Performance Sailing + Pre entry assessments
All courses will run at Bartley Sailing Club.
The advanced module courses are £20 per head per weekend. The pre-entry assessments are £20 per day (1 day should be sufficient to complete the assessment). The courses will be run in the following boats: RS 100, RS 500, Laser 2000, Laser Vago, RS Feva and RS Vision. Courses will start at 0900 and finish at 1700.
An Advanced Instructor course will run on the 25th and 26th September and will cost £80 per person.

RYA Dinghy Instructor
Draycote Water SC: July 26 to 31 (DI2); October 25 to 30 (DI3).
For the experienced dinghy sailor who would like to learn the skills needed to teach others to sail.
Pre-requisites to do the course:
- Pre-entry Assessment;
- Hold a valid First Aid certificate;
- RYA Powerboat Level 2;
- 16+ years old.
